Capella Education is all about the digital age. The fast-growing company operates Capella University, an online school that offers more than 40 undergraduate and graduate degree programs with nearly 140 specializations. Its 39,000 students are primarily composed of working adults, 80% of which are pursuing master's or doctoral degrees. They come from all 50 states and about 50 countries, primarily from urban settings. Capella's 1,200 faculty members are mostly part-time employees, typically teaching one to three courses per semester. More than three-quarters of the company's revenues are derived from federal student financial aid programs.
